Employer Not Vicariously Liable for Deaths of Carpooling Workers

The Mississippi Supreme Court ruled that an employer could not be held vicariously liable for the deaths of two employees who were carpooling to work. Case: Mar-Jac Poultry MS v. Live, No. 2017-IA-01522-SCT, 06/13/2019, published. Facts: Senah Carter worked for Mar-Jac Poultry.
