Medical Training Institute Fined for Bloodborne Pathogen Hazards

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited an Atlanta-based health care training institute for failure to abate bloodborne pathogen hazards and has proposed fines of $62,000.OSHA said in a press release that inspectors cited Atlanta Health Careers Institute for violations at its facility in McDonough, Ga., following an inspection in May 2012.
