Colorado’s largest workers’ compensation insurer has donated more than $347,000 in scholarship awards to students whose lives have been impacted by work-related accidents, the carrier said.
The money will be given to 74 students for the 2021-22 school year, Pinnacol announced.
The carrier started its charitable foundation more than 20 years ago to provide scholarships to students whose parents have been injured or killed in industrial accidents.
Colorado students are eligible for the scholarships regardless of whether Pinnacol was the carrier for their parent’s claim.
