Employers Holdings reported a 41% increase in written premium from the third quarter of 2011 to 2012, but net income was 31% lower for the same time period in 2012 than it was in 2011.The Reno, Nev.-based carrier said net written premiums increased to $144.4 million for the three-month period ending Sept. 30, 2012, compared to $102.6 million for the same period in 2011.
