Lawmakers Approve Disbanding Work Comp Review Committee

North Dakota lawmakers passed a bill that would eliminate an interim committee that was created to review workers’ compensation claims and determine the need for statutory changes to the state’s work comp laws. The North Dakota State House of Representatives on Monday voted 69-16 to pass SB 2040, by the Legislative Management Committee. The Senate voted 43-3 to pass the bill Jan. 13.
