Supreme Court Upholds Dismissal of Worker's Claim for Injuries From Being Locked in Room

The North Dakota Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that a worker’s claim for alleged mental and physical injuries from being trapped in a room during sub-zero temperatures was barred by the state’s statute of limitations. Nicholas Lechner filed a workers’ compensation claim on May 5, 2016, for injuries he allegedly sustained on Dec. 5, 2013.
