Self-Insured Reporting Threshold Increasing to $17,500

The threshold for self-insured employers to report claims data to the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division will increase to $17,500 in 2020 from $17,000 for the current year. The WCD said the reporting threshold is the split point used by the National Council on Compensation Insurance for experience rating. Claim costs up to the split point are considered primary losses.
