Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee appointed Meredith B. Weaver to serve as a judge on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Weaver has practiced law for 18 years, primarily focusing on workers’ compensation and employment law, according to the Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims blog. She is an attorney with Peterson White in Knoxville.
Weaver was sworn in on Friday to replace retiring judge David Hensley.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee.
