The West Virginia Supreme Court unanimously ruled that a worker was entitled to benefits for his carpal tunnel syndrome. Case: West Virginia Division of Highways v. Sturgell, No. 21-0918, 10/19/2023, published. Facts: Matthew Sturgell worked for the West Virginia Division of Highways as an equipment operator and flagger. In January 2017, he saw Dr. James Endicott with complaints of joint pain and numbness in his hands.
