Medical Advisory Committee Meeting Sept. 20

The Oregon Medical Advisory Committee is meeting Sept. 20 in Wilsonville to continue its discussion about new medical technologies, including spinal cord stimulators and prosthetic ankles.The committee will hear public testimony and discuss whether additional studies are necessary to determine whether comp should pay for iWalk’s BiON Ankle System for lower-leg amputees.The committee will also review research and hear public testimony on the use of spinal cord stimulators, which have been under review for at least a year.
