Labor Department Reviewing Timeliness of Claim Activity

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry said its Compliance, Records and Training Unit will be reviewing claims for timeliness of liability determinations and initial payments, and assessing penalties as appropriate. “DLI’s review will focus mainly on claims filed beginning Nov. 2, 2020, but may also include claims filed before that date,” the department said in a statement.
