Pipefitter's former Employer Can't Pass Liability for Rotator Cuff Tear onto more recent Employer

The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled that a pipefitter's former employer couldn't shift liability for his rotator cuff tear onto one of his more recent employers, since the tear was a consequential condition of his work-related injury. Case: SAIF Corp. v. Durant, No. 223, 05/13/2015, published. Facts: Jerry Durant injured his shoulder while working as a pipefitter for MPP Piping.
