Sea World Cited for not Protecting Trainers from Killer Whales

Sea World has been cited with more safety violations for not protecting employees who work with their famed killer whales, according to multiple news sources.  The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health issued four citations totaling more than $25,000. Two of those citations dealt specifically with a lack of procedures to protect supervisors and trainers who swam with killer whales in medical pools.  Sea World is planning to appeal the citations issued by the state and released a statement that said the citations were given due to naivety on the part of OSHA. &q...
