L&I Holding Labor Law Workshop on Sept. 25

The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries will hold a free workshop at its Port Angeles office later this month for employers who don’t yet have a full understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the state’s labor laws. Participants will learn about workers’ compensation issues, including reporting requirements and claims management strategies. Other topics that will be explored include workplace safety and health standards and payroll, overtime and mandatory break requirements.
