OSHA Cites Group Home for Failing to Prevent Workplace Violence

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited an Idaho group home for failing to provide adequate safeguards against workplace violence.OSHA said in a press release it issued a citation and is proposing a penalty of $4,900 against South Park Inc., which operates as Developmental Options in Pocatello, Idaho. The agency said it opened an inspection of the group home and adult day care center in January following reports of increasing severity of attacks against workers.
