Insurers Must Report Hurricane Harvey-Related Data

The Department of Insurance has issued a mandatory call for insurers to provide information related to claims resulting from Hurricane Harvey in 62 counties across the state. The data call is designed to provide regulators with immediate access to information to determine the financial and other impacts of Harvey-related claims on the various property and casualty insurers doing business in Texas, including surplus lines insurers.
