Committee Approves Supplemental, Inflation-Adjusted COVID Benefits

Eight months after the New Jersey Senate endorsed it, a bill that would grant cost-of-living adjustments to death benefits for essential workers is set for a floor vote in the Assembly. SB 2476, with Sen. Troy Singleton, D-Moorestown, as a prime sponsor, would provide supplemental benefits to survivors of essential workers who died from COVID-19.
