Valen Analytics Marketing Director Takes Over as President

Valen Analytics, a Denver-based predictive analytics provider, announced Tuesday the appointment of Kirstin Marr as president, effective immediately.

Marr has served as chief marketing officer for Valen for the past six years. Previously she has worked for HomeAdvisor and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the company said.

Marr was a founding member of the Insurance Careers Movement, an organization that now has 1,000 members. She has also served with several nonprofit organizations that focus on education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Dax Craig, who served as Valen’s president and chief executive officer since co-founding the company in 2004, will remain with Valen in an advisory role, the company said.
