Senate Confirms Zalewski to WCAB

The California Senate unanimously confirmed Katherine Zalewski for a six-year term on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. The Senate voted 34-0 to confirm Gov. Gavin Newsom’s reappointment on Jan. 18. Zalewski was first appointed to the WCAB in 2014 and was reappointed in May 2021. She has served as chairwoman of the board since 2017.
