Bermuda-based reinsurance company Maiden Holdings has announced that its president and chief executive officer, Art Raschbaum, is retiring, effective Sept. 1.
The company’s board of directors has appointed Lawrence Metz, Maiden’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, to serve as president and CEO.
In addition, Chief Financial Officer Karen Schmitt is retiring. She will stay with the company as executive vice president until March 1.
