A Pennsylvania pharmaceutical sales representative has pleaded guilty to participating in a scheme to defraud the military's health care program by submitting fraudulent claims for compounded pain creams, the U.S. Department of Justice announced this week.
Jason Cerge, 41, of Media, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to information charging him with conspiracy to commit health care fraud.
Cerge admitted to submitting claims for medically unnecessary compound creams that were marketed by a company that the information does not identify.
