The Division of Workers' Compensation is accepting public comment on a rule that would allow physicians' assistants to sign and file work status reports, and send copies to injured workers by email.
The rule is in keeping with legislation passed last year that authorizes the change, the division announced. Comments on the rule change or requests for a public hearing may be submitted by email to RuleComments@tdi.texas.gov by 5 p.m. on May 21.
