The Texas Department of Insurance has approved changes to the National Council on Compensation Insurance Basic Manual classifications and the manual's Appendix E, which covers classifications by hazard group.
TDI announced this week that it had given final approval to NCCI changes that eliminate or reassign certain classifications that have few employers from which to draw credible data. Those include wool spinning, glove manufacturing and motion picture production.
