Alleged Delays in Adjudication of Claim Don't Allow Waiver of Social Security Offset

The Connecticut Appellate Court ruled that alleged delays in the adjudication of an injured worker’s comp claim did not allow her to avoid an offset for the old-age Social Security benefits she had begun receiving. The case was Dahle v. The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. Barbara Dahle had worked for the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. She suffered injuries in a workplace fall in 2003.
