Attorney Complicit in Comp Fraud Can't Represent Client's Estate

An Ohio appellate court last week disqualified an attorney from representing the estate of a 37-year old worker in a wrongful death action because the attorney had helped the same worker defraud the state in a workers' comp claim. Attorney Natalie Grubb was accused of hiring Tracy Lytle to do work for her law firm during the six-month period when Lytle was collecting temporary total disability benefits that Grubb had secured.
