The Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers' Compensation has suspended all independent rating evaluations in reaction to last week's Supreme Court decision striking down the impairment rating evaluation process as unconstitutional.
The bureau sent a notice to stakeholders through its electronic claims filing system indicating that the agency will no longer designate physicians to perform IREs.
