Criminal charges have been filed against a Northern California nursery worker who is accused of exaggerating the extent of her injuries, Intercare Holdings Insurance Services said Friday.
Margarita Soto-Gomez is accused of failing to disclose honest facts regarding the nature of her injury and presenting a false claim to obtain benefits, according to a criminal complaint filed in Stanislaus County Superior Court. She was ordered to appear in court to answer the charges on Nov. 7.
