Thomas D. Nyhan, a workers' compensation defense attorney who founded the Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie & Lowry law firm in Chicago, has died. He was 85.
Nyhan, a U.S. Navy veteran, began his legal career in Chicago in the late 1950s. Before founding his own firm, he was enlisted by the firm of Pope, Ballard, Shepard & Fowle to help handle workers’ compensation claims for General Motors, according to a statement by the law firm.
