The Oregon Workers' Compensation Board is proposing changes to its rules that would allow the Hearings Division to acknowledge receipt of a hearing request and expedited claim hearing notice electronically.
Proposed changes to OAR 438-006-0020 would eliminate the requirement for the Hearings Division to acknowledge receipt of a request for a hearing "by mail." The amendment would allow the division to acknowledge receiving a request through its website portal, by mail or by other means, the board says in its rulemaking notice.
