State Fund Offering Providers Free Training on Opioids

State Compensation Insurance Fund announced a free online training program for California providers offering guidance and practice tips for using opioids to manage pain associated with workplace injuries. The first training program addresses proper use of opioids in managing acute pain and will be available Jan. 5. The second program covers opioid use for managing chronic pain and will be available Feb. 1.
