McCrory Appoints Former State Rep. to Industrial Commission

A former three-term North Carolina state representative will join the state Industrial Commission, filling a vacant seat once held by Chairman Drew Heath, who was promoted to a position as state budget director earlier this month. North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory has appointed Secretary of Administration Bill Daughtridge as commission chairman. Daughtridge served in the state House of Representatives from 2003 to 2008.
