The Executive Office of Health and Human Services, the agency that sets payment rates for hospitals, physicians and other health care providers who treat injured workers, has updated some of its codes retroactive to Jan. 1.
Administrative Bulletin 17-13 applies to freestanding ambulatory surgical facilities.
In accordance with 114.3 CMR 47.01(4), Coding Updates and Corrections, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services has added new procedure codes and deleted outdated codes effective for dates of service on and after Jan. 1, the bulletin says.
