The Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council will hold a hearing on Feb. 10 to discuss impartial medical exams and physicians and recent cases filed with the state Department of Industrial Relations, the council has announced.
The Advisory Council was created to study and recommend actions about the state workers’ compensation system.
Attorney Alan Piece of Pierce, Pierce & Napolitano will also make a presentation on national workers’ compensation developments, including opt-outs, constitutional challenges and cost shifting.
