Labor Committee Reviewing Proposals to Expand Presumptions

The Washington state Senate Labor and Commerce Committee will review three presumption bills and a request for the Department of Labor and Industries to study risks associated with janitorial work, during a meeting today. Senate Bill 6214, by Sen. Steve Conway, D-South Tacoma, would create a presumption that post traumatic stress disorder is an occupational disease for police officers and firefighters.
