Researchers may soon draw up a fiscal note on a bill that would allow workers to sue employers, insurers or third-party administrators who unreasonably contest liability or delay payments.
House Bill 6666 was sent to the Connecticut General Assembly's Offices of Legislative Research and Fiscal Analysis last Wednesday.
The Office of Legislative Research provides policy analysis, while the Office of Fiscal Analysis prepares fiscal notes.
HB 6666, introduced in January by the House Labor and Public Employees Committee, had a public hearing on Feb. 14.
