Carriers Can Start Emailing Informational Brochure July 1

Florida workers’ compensation carriers can start sending informational brochures by email on July 1, the state Department of Financial Services announced. Gov. Ron DeSantis on May 25 enacted HB 959, which amended the requirement that carriers mail the informational brochures and gave them the option of sending the document electronically. Under the bill, the Injured Worker Informational Brochure and the Employer Informational Brochure can be sent by mail or email.
