Facts: Jesus Palacios worked for New Mexico Expo. He suffered an on-the-job shoulder injury in June 2015 and promptly notified Expo. Expo then contacted its insurance carrier, which accepted Palacios’ injury as compensable.
Palacios began receiving disability benefits, and payment of these benefits continued even after Palacios reached maximum medical improvement.
