WCB Posts Acute Per-Case Inpatient Reimbursement Rates for 2020

The New York Workers' Compensation Board on Tuesday announced new reimbursement rates for acute-care hospital stays, as determined by the state Department of Health. The DOH provided the rates for acute, per-case inpatient stays, exempt hospitals and inpatient detoxification stays for calendar year 2020. The rates are based on New York state Medicaid rates, in keeping with state law, the board said in a bulletin. Most of the reimbursement rates show an increase.
