The Connecticut Appellate Court ruled that the widow of a worker who was fatally struck by a front-end loader could not pursue a civil claim against the co-employee operating the loader. Case: Abendroth v. Moffo, No. 36547, 04/21/2015, published. Facts: Nicholas Moffo and Craig Abendroth both worked for Zysk Brothers Landscaping. Moffo accidentally struck Abendroth with a front-end loader he was using to move topsoil. Abendroth's injuries from this accident were fatal.
