Forest Products Industry Faces $200K in Penalties, Placed on OSHA's Severe Violators List

A Homerville-based company is facing almost $180,000 due to serious violations that have also landed them in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Severe Violator Enforcement Program, which allows OSHA inspectors to visit any location to conduct inspections.  Dupont Yard Inc. was issued 14 citations, including eight repeat violations, for not keeping floors and walkways free from debris, missing guardrails and exposing employees to shock and burn hazards.
