DWC Seeks Stakeholder Input for Spinal Cord Stimulator Audit

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is seeking input on a planned spinal cord stimulator plan-based audit. The audit will evaluate the appropriateness of a doctor’s decision and recordkeeping that support the use and effectiveness of spinal cord stimulators. The audit sets the scope, methodology, selection standards and program area duties laid out in the Medical Quality Review Process.
