Supreme Court Upholds TTD Cap for Hernias

The Oklahoma Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that the state’s statutory limitation on the payment of benefits for a hernia injury passes constitutional muster. Section 61 of the Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act provides that a claimant with a compensable hernia injury can receive only six weeks of temporary total disability benefits.
