Don't Base Diagnosis on Results of One Test, IME Warns

A growing trend in the diagnosis of injured workers is to order tests — but tests have their drawbacks and shouldn’t be the sole basis of a diagnosis, a Pennsylvania physician said on Monday. Dr. Lucian Bednarz is a partner with Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates as well as an independent medical examiner for workers’ comp claims.
