Police Officer Gets Benefits for Aggravation of Preexisting Back Problems

The Illinois Appellate Court upheld an award of benefits to a police officer for an aggravation of his preexisting back issues. John Gibson worked for the City of Aurora as a police officer from 1997 until 2020. On Sept. 5, 2017, Gibson responded to a domestic violence call.
