Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek signed a bill prohibiting employers from offering to engage in settlement negotiations only if the injured worker agrees to find work elsewhere.
The governor on Thursday signed House Bill 3471, which declares it an unlawful business practice to make an offer to negotiate a settlement agreement conditional upon a worker also entering into an agreement that includes a no-rehire provision.
