The Illinois Senate voted Wednesday evening to override Gov. Bruce Rauner's veto of a bill that would heal a sore for workers' compensation physicians who have complained for years that insurers won't pay their bills and can't be charged interest.
With snow moving into Springfield, senators plowed through dozens of bills in a veto session Wednesday and voted 55-1 to override the veto on Senate Bill 904. The override consideration now goes to the House, but physicians are expecting it to pass there, too.
