Gov. Doug Ducey has signed off on adding heart problems and 12 cancers to the list of ailments presumed to be work-linked in firefighters.
With Ducey's signature on House Bill 2410, firefighters who sustain an injury to their heart, lungs or blood vessels theoretically will have an easier time collecting workers' compensation benefits.
