The average monthly wage in Arizona has increased 2.5%, resulting in a commensurate increase in maximum indemnity benefits for workers injured on or after Jan. 1, 2019.
The maximum wage will increase, to $4,741.57, from $4,625.92 at the start of the year.
Injured workers receive indemnity benefits at a rate of 66.67% of their average monthly wages prior to the injury. The monthly wage is capped at the average wage paid to all workers in the state.
