Police and firefighters in Oregon say that because of the inherently dangerous nature of their jobs, state law should presume any claim they file for post-traumatic stress disorder is compensable. Lawmakers in Idaho might also find themselves debating whether PTSD should be covered when not accompanied by a specific injury.
