Starting June 1, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation will allow certified nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists and physician assistants to sign forms supporting the payment of workers' compensation benefits for up to six weeks.
The BWC finalized this change to Rule 4123-5-18 on Tuesday. Previously, only doctors were allowed to sign such forms.
